Job OverviewOctopi Digital Ltd is seeking a passionate and skilled .NET Developer to join our growing software development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience or strong academic knowledge in developing real-world applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, MVC, and Web API, along with database expertise in MySQL or MSSQL.Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET technologies (C#, MVC, .NET Core, Web API).• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.• Work with SQL-based databases (MSSQL/MySQL), including queries, stored procedures, and schema design.• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers.• Participate in requirement analysis and technical planning.• Debug, test, and optimize application performance.• Use version control tools (Git) and follow Agile development methodologies.Tech Stack We Use
Backend & Frameworks:• .NET Framework, .NET Core• C#, ASP.NET MVC• Web APIDatabases:• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)• MySQLTools & Other Skills:• Visual Studio, Postman, Git, LINQ, Entity Framework• REST API development experience• Basic knowledge of frontend (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plusRequirements
• 1–2 years of experience in .NET development.• Proficient in C# and OOP principles.• Knowledge of .NET MVC / .NET Core Web API.• Familiarity with SQL queries and database structures.• Understanding of software architecture and RESTful APIs.• Comfortable using Visual Studio and Git.• Good communication and collaboration skills.• Proficiency in English is a priority.• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.• Strong practical knowledge of .NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, and REST API design principles.Opportunities
